This is a telescopic post-op knee that is used for knee immobilization after surgery. The hinge, made from steel can be set in 0-80 degrees in extension and 
0-120 degrees in flexion with 10 degree steps and can also be locked completely in 0-80 degrees extension. There is a safety cap on the hinge securing the stop pins. Simply rotate the cap to the position of the pin and open the safety lock to change the pin. The telescopic function allows you to anchor the brace over the malleolus in order to prevent migration. The upper part can be adjusted so the lateral part of the brace is higher than the medial part to not cause discomfort when ambulating. The brace is fitted with three circular straps over the top part and three straps over the lower part. The soft goods are made from a breathable polyesterfoam that is lined with a comfortable material. Replacement soft-good and straps can be ordered separately.
